Dominant Chord
The notes on this staff don’t much resemble the conventional tablature of musical notation, but over the past half century developments in music have made the notation so familiar to Bach and Hayden obsolete. As new instruments and new performance techniques have exploded the range of sounds that we perceive as music, new notations have been invented to represent them in two dimensions. This piece represents a dominant major chord in a three-dimensional notation that has not yet become accepted methodology.
