Fool's Ladder
The initial impression of this piece is of brightly polished bronze against a dark background, in a piece that seems solidly vertical. But the bottom of the piece is cut away on a 45 degree angle. There isn't much bottom, but the shape and the material are so strong that there is no sense that it will topple -- just a lingering sense of dynamism.
