Masai Maron
The Masai maron dominated the grasslands of eastern Africa for centuries. Very tall, the Masai ruled the shorter Kikuyu people, who only gained the upper hand when Kenya achieved independence. At their peak they were a military force that was apparently a thing of beauty. I aimed to capture some of that quiet beauty with this lone maron and his spears.
