Belltower
In the 1990’s a family from Bodega Bay, California (site of Hitchcock’s The Birds) took a trip to Italy and the young son was killed in an accident that struck the people of Italy dearly. To commemorate his death, the Italian people erected a bell tower to his memory in Bodega Bay and sent more than 100 bells of all sizes, which today adorn the tower. This piece was inspired by that tower. It is not a copy of the tower, but if you saw it you would recognize the genesis of this sculpture.
