Who Fears Gravity?

This six-by-six matrix of solid bronze is nickel plated. The outer surfaces are highly polished; the inner surfaces have a more matte finish. The piece looks remarkably different as the light striking it changes in brightness, hardness, and color. In some light the interior surfaces glow as light is reflected between them. In other light, the brightly finished exterior is brilliantly intense. Mounted on a 45 degree angle, the piece seems very relaxed as it defies the impulse to slide to ground.
